Felted Newborn Hat

I had fun making this sweet felted newborn hat! The newborn hat was knit with two strands of medium weight yarn. The lace band and feathers and wool flower were just set atop the felted hat for the photo and could be exchanged for a more masculine embellishment if desired. These are too much fun!

Just wanted to pop in and post up my latest felted baby hat. Love how this turned out! This is my colorway – Peacock Chick on commercial spun worsted weight yarn. Just posting my handspun art yarn creations from the art yarn skein from last week. This was a lot of fun!
The 34 yards of orange and pink art yarn were used up in the two newborn bonnets and one Mish Mash hat.
